Computer chairs for home and office
A computer chair is designed for work, study and leisure at the computer. Unlike an ordinary chair it has adjustable height, a swivel seat and castors, so you can roll up to the desk and change position easily. RestockFurniture offers computer chairs from €25 – from compact home models to ergonomic chairs for a full working day.
Which computer chair should you choose?
- For a home workspace and studying – the compact Livo and Livo Plus (€25–35) take up little space and suit you if you spend a few hours a day at the computer. They are also a good fit for pupils and students.
- For working from home all day – ergonomic high-back models such as Maxi, Stratos, Apex or ErgoMax give better support to your back and neck.
- For resting during breaks – chairs with a pull-out footrest (Fogo, Miko, Lao) let you lean back and rest your legs.
- For gaming – take a look at the sporty Draco and Etna gaming chairs.
How to set up your computer chair
- Set the seat height so your feet rest on the floor and your knees are at roughly 90°.
- Move close enough to the desk that your elbows are level with the desk or armrests and your shoulders are relaxed.
- Sit back against the backrest – your lower back should be supported.
- Place the top of your monitor at about eye level so you do not have to bend your neck.
- Stand up and move around every hour – even the best chair is no substitute for movement.

Frequently asked questions
Which computer chair suits a pupil or student?
For studying and a few hours a day at the computer, the compact Livo and Livo Plus work well. They take up little space and are height-adjustable, so the chair “grows” with your child.
How is a computer chair different from an office chair?
Computer chairs are usually more compact and simpler – designed for a home workspace. Ergonomic office chairs have a higher back and more adjustment options, so they are better if you work all day.
How do I set up my computer chair correctly?
Set the seat height so your feet rest on the floor, move close to the desk so your elbows are level with it, and sit back against the backrest. The top of your monitor should be at about eye level.
How much does delivery cost and how quickly will I get my order?
Collection from our Riga store is free. Same-day delivery in Riga costs €20 if you order by 13:00. Courier delivery within Latvia and to Lithuania and Estonia costs €10 and usually arrives within 1 working day.
Can I return an item?
